Situation情境
Rick and Tina are discussing genetically modified foods.
Dialogue對話
(A= Rick,B= Tina)
A:With so many people suffering from malnutrition around the world,
why are people protesting genetically modified foods?
B:Some people are protesting
against GM foods, but even more people are protesting the fast that
many processed foods containing GM ingredients are not always labeled.
A:Why should they be labeled?
B:Not everyone is so sure
that GM foods are safe, and they want all GM products to be labeled
so they know what they should and shouldn't eat.
A:You know ,I've heard of a GM fish that grew
to be ten times its normal size.
B:That sure sounds like
frankenfood to me.
A:Yeah, it sounds a little strange , but that
fish could feed ten times as many people.
B:You're right, GM foods
might help solve world hunger. But I think that we all have a right
to know what we are eating.
